The Damascus Steel Folding Pocket Knife with engraved wood handle is a handsome and practical tool with a sturdy blade made from solid steel. Its comfortable multicolored handle gives this tool its antique appearance, making it a convenient addition to any collection.

The blade on this knife is made of modern-patterned Damascus steel, 512 layers of hard higher carbon steel are welded to many layers of soft lower carbon steel. The blade is handmade, forged and welded; it is twisted, ground, and flattened before being forged into a billet that is used to make the knife. The knife is profiled and ground before being heat-treated to reveal the striking pattern. It's then tempered & edge sharpened.
