                                      Damascus Steel Handmade Lock Back Folding Pocket Knife

The blade of this Damascus steel knife is handcrafted, with a high-carbon content that yields an exceptionally hard, strong, and resilient edge. When used properly, this knife will remain sharp for a long time to come. The dark gray finish on the handle provides an excellent grip. The knife is made from heavy-duty stainless steel and features a durable leather sheath that provides strength and prevents scuffing or damage to the seam on your pants or belt while wearing it. 

The knife is made up of Damascus steel, which is pattern-welded from layers of hard higher carbon steel and soft lower carbon steel is made by combining steel in alternating order. The pattern is designed beforehand using plans recorded on paper or on a computer. Then the blade is forged-welded, twisted, drilled, flattened, ground, tempered and ready to use. The blade is profiled after heat treating so that it looks like a pattern etched into the steel. The blade is finished with etching to reveal its striking pattern before sharpening.

This robust design has a mudguard that keeps your hand safe from any debris that gets on it while in use.
