Texas Toothpick Handmade Damascus Steel Folding Pocket Knife"Multi Wood Handle" is made with a handmade milled hand-forged Damascus steel blade with a 2.1-inch blade, high carbon stainless steel blade and it has a smooth full tang design that combines the strength of high-quality steel with superb balance and ergonomic feel. The knife comes in a canvas sheathe with clasp closure.
The blade of the knife is made up of Damascus steel. A forged billet of hard steels, 512 layers in total, is welded to many layers of soft steels. The pattern is designed and the blade is forged, twisted, drilled, flattened, ground, and then forge-welded again. The stack of steel is formed into a billet and these billets or bars are used to make a knife. The knife is profiled (sharpened), heat-treated (hardened), and finished with other processes like etching and bluing to reveal the striking patterns.
